millet tikki chaat

 

1/2 cup fox tail millet, soaked for 3 hours

1 small boiled potato

2 tsp chopped fresh coriander

1 green chilli chopped

1/4th tsp amchur powder

1/4th tsp minced ginger

1 tsp minced garlic

salt to taste

1 tsp oil

2 tbsp curd

1 tbsp pomegranate seed

1 tsp green chutney

1 tsp tamarind sauce

1 tsp chaat masala

1 tsp roasted cumin seed powder


Method

Cook the foxtail millet in 1.5 cup of water in medium flame till it become tender and soak all water. let it cool down.

Now add grated boil potato , chopped coriander , galic, ginger, amchur , green chilli. salt and mix well . Try to mash the millet little bit to make a soft dough.grease little oil on your palm and make small patty out of dough.

you can air fry the patty or cook it on a non stick skillet by greasing little oil.

Take a serving plate, put the tikkis, spread the curd all over it, garnish with chopped fresh coriander, green chutney,tamarind sauce and  pomegranate seeds  . Sprinkle chaat masala and roasted cumin powder.

your summer refreshing healthy tikki chaat is ready to serve.
