Crunchy bok choy



150 g bok choy

1 litre water

1 tsp toasted  sesame seed

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp olive oil

1 tsp naturally brewed japanese soy sauce ( optional

 1  tsp salt

 1/2 tsp sugar




Wash bok choy properly under running tap water. Remove the extra segment. Boil water in a pot. add salt and sugar and stir well. wait for 30 seconds and turn off the flame.Remove bok choy from the water.


now take a pan ,heat it, add olive oil .Add chopped garlic and stir till little brown. Now add bok choy and stir turning upside down on medium flame for 30 seconds ,turn off the flame. sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and drizzle soy sauce.


#serving suggestion- can be served as side dish with paneer / tofu/ chicken / fish
