oats chilla

 Ingredients for serving 2

1/2 cup  white oats
1/2 cup besan
1 tbsp chopped capsicum
1 tbsp chopped tomato
1 tbsp chopped onion
1/2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 green chilly,chopped
2 tsp oil
1 tsp crushed ginger
1/3  tsp zeera powder
1/3rd tsp red chilli powder ( optional)
salt to taste
water to make batter

Method

Dry roast oats for 2 mins. keep it aside to cool. take a big bowl put besan, oats, all chopped veggies, salt, zeera powder, chopped green chilly, ginger and water and mix well. Adjust water to make a batter of the right consistency for making cheela.

Heat a skillet, grease it with oil, and spread the batter in a round shape. let it cook from one side and then turn upside down to cook.
Serve hot with chutney.
