pan fried desi style tofu

 Ingrdients 

 
100g tofu
2 tsp oil
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garlic ginger paste
1/3rd tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp yogurt 
salt to taste
2 tsp rice flour
salt to taste
2 tsp chopped coriander 
1 tsp toasted sesame seed ( optional)
 
Method :
 
Dry up the tofu by using a kitchen paper towel. cut into small square or rectugular pieces or shapes of your choices. The pieces should not be very thick. keep it aside.
 
Now take a pan add yogurt , 1 tsp oil , chilli powder , garam masala, lime juice, ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, rice flour, turmeric powder and mix well. if the paste too much thick, add little yogurt.
 
Coat all the tofu pieces with this paste from all sides by mixing them well in the paste. keep it aside and rest for 20 mins.
 
Heat a pan, add oil. Place tofu pieces one by one gently into the pan and cook them from both the sides by turning upside down. Garnish with chopped coriander and 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
 
Serve them with rings of tomato, onion and green chutney.
